Honeymoon Places Near Delhi

Because of its location in Northern India, Delhi is close to the Himalayan ranges and, as a result, a variety of gorgeous hill stations like Shimla, Kullu, and Manali that are snuggled in the lap of the Himalayas. It is also close to the Aravali Ranges and the historic city of Agra. There are thus many gorgeous destinations near Delhi where one can go for a romantic holiday. However, while sites like Nainital and Shimla are already renowned tourist attractions, here are a few unique honeymoon spots near Delhi:

  1. Auli

Auli, also known as "Auli Bugyal" (meadow), is a lesser-known skiing location located approximately 394 kilometres from Delhi. Aside from skiing, the Clifftop Club Hotel is immediately near to the highest man-made lake. Surrounded by high peaks such as Mana, Kamet, and the tallest of them all, Nanda Devi, Auli exudes a sense of total happiness, spirituality, and seclusion, earning it the moniker "Devbhumi" or "Land of Gods." Summertime is a great time to visit Auli because the weather is nice. It generates a sense of oneness and fulfilment that every pair should have.

  1. Orrcha

Orrcha is well known for the Fort of Orrcha, which was erected by the Rajput Chief, Rudra Pratap Singh, and would be a lovely visit for all those couples who are enamoured by history and want to visit one of the less visited destinations. Orrcha, about 464 km from Delhi, is home to the Jahangir Mahal, one of the most exquisite examples of Mughal architecture. Orrcha's buildings have been documented numerous times for their historical value, and the stately Orrcha Fort is one such spot where couples may choose to reflect about a bygone age while enjoying their serenity in this small, gorgeous town.

  1. Manesar

Manesar began as a peaceful village; nevertheless, it has recently undergone a burst of development. Despite this, Manesar remains a lovely site from which to admire the grandeur of the Aravalli Ranges. It is possibly the only site in India that has adopted a new concept of "farm tourism," in which guests are encouraged to learn about the farming lifestyle. Couples can have a pure, unburdened peaceful stay away from the buzz of city life with an abundance of farms and spas located in quirky rural places. Beautiful sunsets and boat rides on Damdana Lake are also available for couples.

  1. Ranikhet

Ranikhet is a small community sprawled across two cantonments located within sight of the western Himalayan ranges and 350 kilometres from Delhi. This location is best appreciated from March through October. It is home to a diverse range of flora and animals, including pine, deodar, and oak trees, as well as leopards, mountain goats, Indian hares, and red foxes. Apart from the Jhula Devi and Rama temples, the Chaubatia Gardens, about 10 kilometres from Ranikhet, has a peach, apricot, and apple orchard plantation. Every couple can enjoy lengthy, tranquil walks together among the beauties of nature if they live close to the woods and maintain a lovely spread of flora.

  1. Chail

Chail, which is home to the Chail palace and is approximately 356 km from Delhi, is a hiker's dream. The Chail cricket ground is the world's highest cricket ground. The majestic Maharaja's palace, which was built in 1891, is lavishly furnished. Chail is a true hideaway, surrounded by huge deodar trees and with a nighttime view of Shimla and Kasauli. In this scenic highlands station, there are cosy log houses and long walks to enjoy the sight of rich foliage.
