Complete 7-Night 8-Day Hemkund Sahib Yatra Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Rishikesh (240 km / 6-7 hours)

Depart Delhi early in the morning via Tempo Traveller. Drive through Haridwar to reach Rishikesh. Evening visit to Triveni Ghat for the Ganga Aarti ceremony. Overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 2: Rishikesh to Joshimath (272 km / 8-9 hours)

Day 4: Valley of Flowers Trek (10 km round trip / 4-5 hours)

Trek to Valley of Flowers National Park. The valley spans 10 km long and 2 km wide, divided by the Pushpawati stream. See Brahma Kamal, Blue Poppy, and 300+ alpine flower species. Return to Ghangaria by afternoon.

Day 5: Hemkund Sahib Trek (12 km round trip / 6-7 hours)

Steep a 6 km climb to Hemkund Sahib at 4,329 meters. Elevation gain exceeds 1,000 meters. The Gurudwara sits beside a glacial lake surrounded by seven peaks. Take a holy dip if desired. Visit Lakshman Temple. Free langar is served. Descend to Ghangaria.

Day 6: Ghangaria to Badrinath (50 km / 3-4 hours)

Trek down to Govindghat. Drive to Badrinath Temple at 3,133 meters. Part of the Char Dham circuit, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. An evening temple visit with a Neelkanth Peak backdrop.

Day 7: Badrinath to Rishikesh (295 km / 9-10 hours)

Morning prayers at temple. A long drive through Joshimath, Karnaprayag, and Rudraprayag. Lunch stop en route. Reach Rishikesh by evening.

Day 8: Rishikesh to Delhi (240 km / 6-7 hours)
