Detailed Day-by-Day Plan

Day 1: Chandigarh to Dharamshala (250 km, 5-6 hours)

Pickup from Chandigarh Airport, Railway Station or Hotel at approximately 8-9 am. Scenic drive to Dharamshala via Una, Kangra.

The lunch stop will be at a roadside dhaba. The guest will check in to the hotel and freshen up after arriving in Dharamsala around 2-3 pm. Dinner will be at Dal Lake or McLeodganj Mall. Will be staying overnight in Dharamsala.

Day 2: Dharamshala and McLeodganj Sightseeing

A full day is planned for the monastery circuit and nature spots after breakfast. Tsuglagkhang Complex housing Dalai Lama Temple and Tibetan Museum. Bhagsunath Temple with waterfall short trek. St John in Wilderness Church. Naddi viewpoint for Dhauladhar range panorama. McLeodganj market for Tibetan handicrafts. Cafes for lunch. Hotel overnight.

Day 3: Dharamshala to Dalhousie (155 km, 5-6 hours)

Checkout after breakfast. Drive to Dalhousie through Kangra Valley mountain roads. Beautiful valley views during journey. Reach Dalhousie by afternoon. Hotel check-in and rest. Evening walk at Mall Road exploring local shops. Panchpula waterfall if time permits. Overnight Dalhousie.

Day 4: Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie

Morning drive to Khajjiar after breakfast. Mini Switzerland meadow with small lake. Horse riding and zorbing activities available at extra cost. Khajji Nag Temple visit. Lunch at local restaurant. Photography at scenic spots. Return to Dalhousie by evening. Free time for shopping. Hotel overnight.

Day 5: Dalhousie to Chandigarh (320 km, 7-8 hours)

Depart at 7 AM after breakfast, and begin a long drive back via the Pathankot route. Several stops for tea and restroom breaks will be made along the way, and we will take breaks for lunch at a dhaba along the highway before arriving in Chandigarh around 3 to 4 PM.

The drop-off will include the airport, train station, or hotel.
