Our 12 days Chardham Yatra starts from Delhi and covers the four important temples Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. These temples sit in the higher Himalayas, so the journey needs a steady plan, safe driving hours and comfortable stops. This package follows the same route used by regular travellers but offers a more comfortable and budget friendly package during the Yatra season, which makes the trip practical and easy to follow.
We pick you from your home, hotel or airport in Delhi. The drive begins early because this helps you avoid heavy traffic on the Meerut and Roorkee section. Once you cross the plains, the route becomes smoother. We reach Haridwar by afternoon. After check in, you can rest for a few hours.
In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri for the Ganga Aarti. This is one of the most peaceful experiences of the trip. The crowd gathers near the river and the sound of prayer fills the whole place. You can return to the hotel for dinner and rest.
Have breakfast and check out. The drive towards Barkot takes you through Rishikesh Road and the lower hills. The mountain route starts once you cross the main city area. If you want a short break at Mussoorie or Kempty Falls, our driver can take you there. These are common stops for travellers.
Reach Barkot by afternoon or early evening depending on traffic. This place is quiet and surrounded by hills. Check in at your hotel and rest for the next day trek to Yamunotri.
This day requires an early start. After a quick breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti. This is the starting point from where pilgrims either walk, take a pony or hire a palki. The walk takes time because the path moves through steep sections. You can go at your own pace. Many elders use ponies to avoid stress.
At the top, visit the Yamunotri temple and take blessings. You can also dip your hands or feet in the warm water spring near the temple. Spend some quiet time and then return to Janki Chatti. Our driver will wait for you there. Drive back to Barkot and rest. This day is tiring for most travellers, so keep the evening free.
After a relaxed morning, start the drive to Uttarkashi. The route stays close to the river. On the way, you will see small villages and apple orchards during the right season. Uttarkashi is the main town where you find markets, shops and basic supplies.
Check in at your hotel. Visit the Vishwanath Temple if you want. Keep the evening free because the next day also includes a long drive to Gangotri.
Leave early to avoid mountain traffic. The drive to Gangotri follows the river all the way. This is one of the most scenic routes of the trip. You can stop at small tea stalls for short breaks.
At Gangotri, take blessings at the temple. The place is calm and peaceful. Take time to sit near the river and relax. Do not rush because altitude can make you feel tired if you move too fast.
Drive back to Uttarkashi by evening and stay overnight.
This is a long travel day so we start early. The drive passes through long curves and small market towns. You will cross Tehri and other points where the view opens up to huge valleys. These stops are good for photography.
Reach Guptkashi in the evening. Check in at your hotel and rest. You will travel to Kedarnath the next morning, so it is important to sleep early.
Start early and reach Sonprayag. From here, take a local shuttle to Gaurikund. The main trek starts from Gaurikund. You can walk, take a pony or hire a palki. Helicopter tickets are also available but depend on weather.
It takes time to reach Kedarnath because the route is long. Once you reach the temple area, you will understand why people consider this place special. The temple stands in the middle of huge mountain peaks. After darshan, check in at your stay and rest for the night.
Wake up early and visit the temple again if you want. Morning darshan feels peaceful because the crowd is slow at that hour. After breakfast, start your return journey to Gaurikund. Take the shuttle back to Sonprayag. Our driver will receive you at the parking.
Drive back to Guptkashi. This day is tiring too, so keep the evening free and rest.
The drive to Badrinath starts after breakfast. This route passes through Chamoli and goes all the way up to Joshimath. The road offers long river views. You can stop for tea and local food on the way.
Reach Badrinath by late afternoon. If the temple queue is short, you can visit on the same day. If the crowd is heavy, go the next morning.
Take morning darshan at the Badrinath temple. The temple looks beautiful in the early hours of the day. After breakfast, start the drive to Joshimath. If time allows, you can visit Narsingh Temple or go to the Auli ropeway point.
Continue the journey towards Rudraprayag. You will reach by evening. Check in at your hotel and relax.
This drive is smooth compared to previous days because the roads become wider as you move down. You will pass through Devprayag where the two rivers meet to form the Ganga. This point is one of the best places to stop for photos.
Reach Haridwar by evening. You can rest at your hotel or visit the Ganga Aarti again if you want.
After breakfast, check out and start the drive back to Delhi. The road is comfortable and straight. We drop you at your home, hotel or airport.
Your tour ends here.
