These temples are located in Masroor village of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. This temple is built on a total of 15 big rocks, which we know as Rock Cut Temple.
Rock Cut Temple Masroor, known as the Himalayan Pyramid, has a unique and mysterious history. According to the Archaeological Department, perhaps this temple built in the 8th century is the only such temple in North India. If seen, it is a very difficult task to make such beautiful carvings on the stones. In such a situation, artisans were brought from far away to do this workmanship. But who did this workmanship, no solid evidence has been found till date.
