Private Innova Crysta | Professional Driver for Entire Tour | Pickup from Delhi
If you are planning a Delhi to Jaipur and Pushkar tour package and trying to figure out whether 3 nights and 4 days is enough time, the short answer is yes. Four days gives you a full day in Jaipur, a complete excursion to Ajmer and Pushkar, and two comfortable drives on NH48 without any rushing. Jaipur is a working city built across three centuries of Rajput rule, with forts, palaces and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites spread across it. Pushkar offers a unique experience. It is a small lakeside town that draws pilgrims from across the country for one reason: the only Lord Brahma temple in the world sits on its shore. Travelling by private Innova Crysta from Delhi gives you pickup from your doorstep and the freedom to move on your own schedule. This page covers exactly what four days on this route looks like.

Your driver picks you up from Delhi airport, railway station or your home, whichever works best. The drive to Jaipur runs on NH48, the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway, which is six lanes and well-maintained for most of the route. One breakfast stop on the highway and you are in Jaipur by early afternoon.
After hotel check-in, the evening covers Birla Temple and Nahargarh Fort. The fort sits 700 feet above the city. At sunset, the light across Jaipur changes fast and the photographs from up there require very little effort. Dinner is at Chokhi Dhani, a cultural village resort on the city's southern edge. Folk artists perform while dinner is served on low wooden seats, traditional thali style. It is a better first introduction to Rajasthan than any museum.
Overnight in Jaipur.
Amber Fort is where the day starts. Raja Man Singh I built it in 1592 on a hill 11 km from the city center, overlooking Maota Lake on one side and the Aravalli hills on the other. The elephant ride to the fort gate depends on availability; the jeep alternative gets you there faster. Inside, the Sheesh Mahal is covered wall to wall and ceiling with inlaid mirror glass that fragments a single candle flame into thousands of reflections.
From the fort, the route passes Jal Mahal. The palace sits entirely in Man Sagar Lake with no access road to it, so you stop at the roadside viewpoint for photographs. Ten minutes there is enough.
The afternoon covers Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and the Gaitore Cenotaphs. Jantar Mantar was built in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and contains the world's largest stone sundial. Both Amber Fort and Jantar Mantar carry UNESCO World Heritage Site status, which is worth knowing before you visit.
Evening shopping in Jaipur is worth the time. Johari Bazaar is a great place to shop for silver and gemstones. Visit Bapu Bazaar for hand block-print fabric. Visit Nehru Bazaar for mojris, the pointed-toe leather shoes the city is known for.
Overnight in Jaipur.
Departure after lunch from Jaipur puts you at Ajmer Sharif Dargah by mid-afternoon. The Dargah is the tomb of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, who was born in 1143 and settled in Ajmer as a young man. The shrine draws over 150,000 visitors on ordinary weekdays. During the Urs festival, that number rises considerably. Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs all visit. You do not need any particular religious background to understand why the place holds the weight it does.
Pushkar is 14 km from Ajmer. The Brahma Temple is the reason most visitors make the trip. It is one of the only temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator deity in Hindu tradition, which makes it a mandatory stop for pilgrims who have no alternative for it anywhere else. The temple stands beside Pushkar Lake, which has 52 bathing ghats along its bank. The evening aarti at the ghats is held at sunset. It is a short ceremony but the crowd and the light on the water make it worth arriving early.
Savitri Temple on the ridge behind the lake can be reached by ropeway for a view of the valley at dusk.
The Pushkar bazaar runs along the lake road and sells silver jewellery, tie-dye cloth and local handicrafts. Silver prices here tend to be lower than in Jaipur.
Return to Jaipur. Overnight in Jaipur.
Checkout after breakfast. A brief photo stop at Jal Mahal on the way out fits easily into the morning. The drive back to Delhi follows the same NH48. Your driver drops you at Delhi airport, railway station or your home address. His contact number stays with you from Day 1.

The best time to visit Jaipur and Pushkar is October to March, when daytime temperatures stay between 15 and 28 degrees Celsius and both cities are fully accessible without heat or rain disruptions.
October and November are the strongest months. The Pushkar Camel Fair falls in November each year, drawing over 200,000 visitors to the town for one of the largest livestock fairs in the world. If your dates are flexible, this is the window to target.
December and January offer clear skies but cold mornings. Fog on NH48 is possible through early January but usually lifts by midday.
April through June is not recommended. Temperatures in Jaipur regularly cross 42 degrees Celsius and Pushkar offers very little shade.

A1. Three nights and 4 days is the ideal duration for a Delhi to Jaipur and Pushkar trip. Day 1 covers the drive from Delhi to Jaipur with an evening visit to Nahargarh Fort and Chokhi Dhani. Day 2 is a full day in Jaipur covering Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Day 3 goes to Ajmer Sharif Dargah and then Pushkar for the Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake and evening aarti, returning overnight to Jaipur. Day 4 is the return drive to Delhi. If you want to spend a morning in Pushkar before leaving, adding a 5th day gives you that option without rushing any part of the trip.
A2. Yes. The Jagatpita Brahma Mandir in Pushkar is considered the only major temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator deity in Hinduism. Despite Brahma being one of the three principal deities in Hindu tradition alongside Vishnu and Shiva, his temples are extremely rare. The most widely cited explanation comes from Hindu scripture Brahmas wife Savitri placed a curse on him that he would not be worshipped anywhere except Pushkar. The temple is built in marble, stands on a high platform beside Pushkar Lake, and is over 700 years old. Entry is free and timings are 6 AM to 1:30 PM and 3 PM to 8:30 PM in winter.
A3. Delhi to Jaipur is approximately 255 to 270 km by road depending on your pickup point in Delhi. Via NH48, the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway, the drive takes 4.5 to 5.5 hours including one stop for breakfast. Jaipur to Pushkar is approximately 145 km, with a stop at Ajmer Sharif Dargah en route, which is 130 km from Jaipur. The Jaipur to Ajmer drive takes about 2 hours and Ajmer to Pushkar is a further 14 km taking roughly 30 minutes. The return drive from Jaipur to Delhi is 265 km and takes approximately 5 to 5.5 hours via NH48.
A4. Pushkar is a fully vegetarian city. The sale of meat, fish, eggs and alcohol is banned within the city limits because of its status as a Hindu pilgrimage site. This applies to all visitors, not just locals. You will not find non-vegetarian food on any restaurant menu in Pushkar. Alcohol is officially prohibited, though some hotels may allow it discreetly in private rooms. If you require non-vegetarian food or alcohol during your trip, Ajmer, which is 14 km from Pushkar and about 25 minutes by road, has restaurants and licensed shops that serve both. Most travellers visiting Pushkar on a day excursion from Jaipur manage the restrictions without difficulty.
A5. Yes. Ajmer and Pushkar can comfortably be covered in one day from Jaipur. The drive from Jaipur to Ajmer is approximately 130 km and takes about 2 hours. From Ajmer, Pushkar is 14 km further, roughly 25 to 30 minutes. A typical day trip departs Jaipur after an early breakfast, reaches the Ajmer Sharif Dargah by mid-morning, then proceeds to Pushkar for the Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake and the sunset aarti at the ghats, returning to Jaipur by 8 to 9 PM. This is exactly how Day 3 of our 4-day Delhi Jaipur Pushkar tour is structured, so you do not feel rushed at either destination.
A6. The tour includes a private Toyota Innova Crysta for all transfers and sightseeing across all 4 days, three nights of hotel accommodation on twin or double sharing basis, daily breakfast, pickup and drop from your choice of Delhi airport, railway station or home address, and all toll taxes, parking charges and driver allowances. Monument entry tickets, lunch, dinner, personal expenses, tips and travel insurance are not included. A complete inclusions and exclusions table is available above on this page. Prices vary by group size and hotel category. Contact us on WhatsApp for a confirmed quote for your travel dates.
A7. Yes. This itinerary is fully customisable. The most common extension is adding Agra for the Taj Mahal, which converts the trip into a Golden Triangle plus Pushkar tour running over 5 to 6 days. The route from Delhi can then go Delhi to Agra on Day 1, Agra to Jaipur on Day 2 via Fatehpur Sikri, with the rest of the tour following the same Jaipur and Pushkar structure. You can also add Ranthambore National Park for a tiger safari, or extend time in Pushkar if your dates fall during the Camel Fair in November. WhatsApp us on 9810833751 with your group size and travel dates and we will build a custom itinerary and price within 30 minutes.
