Sukhna Lake: A man-made reservoir in the foothills of the Shivalik range. Visitors usually spend time walking along the lake or relaxing near the promenade.
Rose Garden (drive-by or visit, time permitting): Asia's largest rose garden, spread over multiple acres.

After sightseeing, start the drive to Shimla, which takes around 4-5 hours depending on traffic and weather conditions. As you approach Shimla, the route passes through scenic hilly roads.

Rohtang Pass (approx. 3,978 m above sea level): Known for its snow-covered landscapes in winter and early summer. Snow and ice activities are completely dependent on weather conditions.

Marhi: A common halt point on the way to Rohtang, often used for breakfast.
