Unique Places to Visit in Delhi in 1 Day

As a Travel Blogger, I have visited so many places in India but Delhi is my favourite and There are so many reasons behind this. So, Today I am going to guide you to some unique places to visit in Delhi in One Day.

The Reason is Clear, People in Delhi have no much time to take a Long tour and if they want to take a weekend Trip then they must have to decide where to visit.

We all want to enjoy our Sunday with our family and visit as many places as possible and that in a limited budget. So. read this article carefully. I am 100% sure that you will be amazed after reading this article.

If you seriously want to visit so many unique places then please take my suggestion seriously. It’s not a joke, Here I will share my own idea that how do I plan my 1 day Tour.

One Day Delhi Tour Journey

So, my Journey Started at 9 am in the morning. I took it too early because I wanted to visit many places in one day. The driver reached my home at the accurate time and thanks to Japji Travel for their awesome services. I was glad to get him. I put my bag and we all sat in the Tempo Traveller one by one.

We decided to start our tour at The Red Fort, Although we have been there so many times even then there is an attraction which attracts us always. So we reached the Red Fort at 10:15 am and spent 2 hours inside the Red Fort.

1. The Red Fort

Timing: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Closed on Mondays)

Now we went to the next destination.

2. Jama Masjid

One of Delhi’s largest mosques, Jama Masjid is admired for its grand structure and serene atmosphere. It remains a popular spot for both worship and sightseeing.

Entry: Free

Timing: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM (Daily)

3. The Sish-Ganj Gurudwara

This spiritual Sikh shrine is known for its beautiful architecture and touching historical significance. It offers a peaceful environment for visitors seeking spiritual solace.

Entry: Free

Timing: Usually open 24 hours; best to visit 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Now, it was the time for our next destination and this was the RajGhat. so, we sat in the tempo Traveller and moved to the next destination.

4. RajGhat

RajGhat is a tranquil memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, providing a calm retreat from the city’s hustle. It’s an ideal place for reflection and remembrance.

Timing: Usually open 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM (Daily)

5. Jantar-Mantar

An ancient astronomical observatory, Jantar Mantar features unique instruments used for studying celestial bodies. A quick visit reveals fascinating insights into historic science.

Timing: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Daily)

6. India Gate

A majestic war memorial, India Gate looks especially stunning in the evening lights. It’s a favorite gathering spot for locals and tourists alike.

Timing: Open 24 hours

7. Bangla Sahib Gurudwara

Known for its beautiful golden dome and serene pond, Bangla Sahib is a spiritual haven. The peaceful evening ambiance here makes it a personal favorite for many visitors.

Final Thoughts

Now as I have mentioned above these are my favourite Places to visit in Delhi in One day. Hardly it takes 12 hours. As per my own experience, we reached at home till 9:30 pm. It is not the end, The next tour is going to be started soon. I will let you know the next best & unique places/ destinations to visit in Delhi such as Qutub Minar, Akshardham Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, Nizamuddin Auliya’s Darbar, Hauz Khas village etc. so wait for my next blog.
